Stopped in here with four hungry kids after going to Battleship Cove, which is nearby. I wasn't expecting much, but I was really surprised. The hot dogs were quite good, and the prices were unbelievably cheap. Four kids and two adults ate and drank for $20, which I thought was quite amazing. And both the patrons and the staff were quite friendly. I'd recommend it if you're in the area and need something quick and cheap.

JJs is a great spot to pick up some late night hot dogs. Place is open until 3am some nights. There are always characters in there and it's not in the best neighborhood but the staff are friendly and the dogs are good. They are cash only so keep that in mind. I get the hot dogs with chili cheese and ketchup. They're good and it's buy 5 get 1 free. They've got plenty of other food there too like stuffed quahogs and sweet rice. Prices are what you'd expect for hot dogs nothing outrageous.

Kayem Old Tyme Franks are a decent hot dog, but adding a little bit of meat sauce and a sprinkle of onions does not make it a wiener.

Coneys with the works. Trust me. Other than the anxiety of impending doom on weekend nights after the bars let out, it's a really great place.

I was looking for a bite to eat before going into church and happily discovered this hot dog place. When you step inside, it looks like it hasn't changed since the 80s, but neither have the prices on their menu! Nothing (hot dogs, sandwiches, quahogs) was priced over $2.00-3.00 except for probably one or two select things. I picked up a Chorizo and Peppers sandwich for around $2.50. The bread was a little soggy but honestly, the price is good! My boyfriend's and my meals all together (2 chili dogs + Chorizo and Peppers sandwich + Vitamin Water + Honest Ade) cost $8.00 even. I'm not complaining! For some cheap eats, try coming out to this hot dog restaurant.

So after a night of partying and feeling pretty good. This is the perfect place to stop and get a few hot dogs to sober yourself up for the ride home... or for the upcoming night of sleep. I normally get two or three hotdogs both with natcho cheese. Tastes great, but I dont think my belly likes it to much. The best part is how inexpensive they are... and if your going with a bud, they have buy 5 get one free specials! It does get alittle ghetto at night, so be prepared for that. oh... THEY DONT TAKE CARDS! LAME

Great dogs, great prices, great hours and awesome customer service! We came all the way from NJ to visit family and stopping here was MANDATORY. Never a disappointment. We had an old tradition of stopping at J J's after concerts until we moved away. Now we just make sure to stop if we are in town. Cheddar cheese dogs for me and Coney Island dogs for my husband.
